I just ordered one today. 135 with tax and shipping. I ordered a midland xtc camera. It sucked so bad I shipped it back the same day. I can post video I took with it but you would get sick. So gave up on the cheap cams and was going to order the Gopro for 250 then I found this deal and only 50 bucks more than the cheap one.
I liked you cam tj I thought it was a normal hd cam. It takes great pics. Is it waterproof and shock proof? I tend to do stuff that throws mud and water about especially if bob is around.

It looks good on youtube but my notebook is old so plays really crappy. I need to figure out how to edit video from it. I also need to figure out which mode works best. Pretty much i may need some help figuring it out from some that knows what the heck there doing. it does a bunch of cool stuff if you know what your doing which I don't.
i never changed the setting from the one it came set on from the box lol. it does ALOT of stuff i have no idea about get use to seeing your confused face at the beggining of every video too
Which version did you get Tim, I see the cameras, I think are all the same, just seems to me the mounts that come with it are what defines the different versions.
Yup they only have 2 cameras for sale now, the hero and a newer one. The difference in packages are the mounts and extras included. I didn't want all the extras so the naked hero worked fine for me. The kids want to put it on the rc boat, tie it to a kite, tie it to our great Dane after watching utube videos on it. But I would like to use it a few times before they lose it.
I love the GoPro. The video it produces is really incredible. I have not found a good place to mount it on the ATV yet that I am completely satisfied with. I have tried the chest mount, and on the front of my box, neither of which I am overly happy with.
I thought about mounting it there as well but wasn't sure how it would turn out with the handle bar moving from side to side. Hopefully you will post the video from Sunday, I will be anxious to see it as well.
