I got a 2008 rancher 420fm. The previous owener took great care of it. Cant wait to hit some trails. My first opportunity will be Sunday morning. Anyone available
DAMMIT, I'll be gone again. It would be cool though, to go ride with " The New Guy", LOL Just kiddin man. Hope to see you soon, fall is upon us and I won't be gone so much.
Well sorry, just got a call from work and I am going in for the morning. Afyer Labor day I am going to quit picking up extra hours. I changed the oil and filter today. Plan on doing the differencial fluid and crankcase fluid next.
Labor day weekend? I am going to Mark Twain lake for the weekend. I still want to change the differential fluid before I really ride it. I may need to wait till the 8 or 9th.
Also what are your guys thoughts on helmets. Are they mandatory at some places. I dont own one and use a toy helmet on my harley. I wouldnt wear one at all if the law allowed. I dont plan on jumping or going to terribly fast. Although I know you cant plan for everything and accidents happen.
I know St. joe requires a DOT helmet, I didn't pay a lot for mine maybe $35.00 on ebay for a full faced one. I'm not sure about other parks, but I'd get one just to have on hand. I wear my helmet most of the time when riding, even though I have roll bars on my buggy, it keeps the dirt out of my eyes.
Good stuff, I guess your getting it there. Don't worry after you start to ride for a bit you'll always have something to do on it, it seems something either needs to be cleaned, changed out, unbent, replaced, etc... lol

Changed the differential fluids both front and back and hooked up the battery tender cables today also. Man I cant wait to take it out. The only other thing I can think to do is the air filter. Seems like I need some reason to play with it.
