Hello new member here. I saw the ad on craigslist and thought I wohld check this out. I currently ride a Harley and am actively looking for my first atv. I am leaning towards a polais sportsman 400. I keep an eye on the board and hopefully get to ride with some people once it get a quad.
Welcome Chad_rn! I'm sure you'll find the right one soon. Hopefully you can make it out to one of our rides in the next month or so when the weather gets better.
Hi everyone. My name is Mike and I'm a newb to the atv scene. Just bought a Arctic Cat TRV 700. My friends are more into the bigger offroad vehicles and don't have atv's so I've been looking for others to ride with. Looks like this might be a good place to start.
That's cool with me, how about in a week or so? My buggy is good to go, I got it fixed before I went down to St. Joe, I got in over 70+ miles of riding in a couple days. It would have been more but we spent a lot of time at events, like drags and hill climbs so it took away from my trail riding.
Maybe we can try next weekend if the weather is right?

Yeah, Welcome Fellas! TJ, we need to ride soon! I have done a little but not much with the heat being the way it has been. I'm thinkin an Alton trip is due pretty soon. I ran into an old friend that just bought his first Quad and he would like to go with us also, and I would imagine Scott would come too.
Well mike, if your free next weekend, we might be going for a ride over in west alton. It's not a huge spot, but its not small either... I'll post it here and try to PM everyone when we set a date.
The land is owned by the Army Corps of Engineers, people have been riding and hunting in the area for a very long time. A friend of mine owns land in the area and he told me about it and a few of us have been riding there a few times. There is a mix of trails and open land, small hills, and some mud pits.
Hello all. T.J. directed me over here from BuggyNews. Im down in Jefferson County. Dont get to ride as often as I like but always looking for places/times to do it.
Rides are 2008 Raptor 700, 1990ish Yamaha Warrior 350 (the wifes rig) and now a 2008 Hammerhead 250SS buggy. St Joe is close by so thats usually where we head. Always looking for an excuse to take the 5th wheel down there for a weekend. Ill be watching for when you guys get together and Ill post up here if we plan anything in the near future.
Never been to Moonlight. Only other place Ive hit is Wa****a. Its actually on the way to St Joe. Pretty rocky and hilly but there is a neat little mx track to ride on too. And it was only 10 or 15 bucks for the day.
Hi all, Name is Nick been riding for a bout 10 years or so. Curantly have 2 4-wheelers a 06 Yamaha wolverine 450 (the wife's). And a 06 kawasaki kfx 700 that I built up over the winter. We ride mostly at St. Joe and sutton's bluff some times leerjak. This spring we made our second trip out to West Virginia to the hatfield & McCoy trails. Be nice to ride with a big group, gets a little repetitive riding with the same amount of people all the time.

Hey Guys. Im new to the site and ATV'ing. I bought a new Sportsman 550XP a couple of months ago. I had an ATV several years ago but didn't do much trail riding with it. So, needless to say, I am a pretty novice rider. I saw some of you guys out at Moonlight a few weeks ago and found the site through T3's youtube video he posted. I have been out to Moonlight, Suttons Bluff and St. Joes so far. I'm really looking forward to meeting folks to start riding with.
Welcome to the group JPXP, great bunch of guys to ride JPXP mix of beginners to advanced riders. Do you think you'll make it out to our ride this Sunday?
Thanks guys. Cant wait for the first ride. I actually thought the Oct ride had already occurred. I am not sure I can make it out this Sunday but will see what I can do. Where are you guys meeting and what time? Will you guys be riding anymore this year?
Meeting at Potawotomi in Fulton around 10-11am. If you want to follow me out there you can i live right off HWY70 so i can wait for you if you want. Offer you to ride along, but i dont have a trailer can only throw one ride in my truck.
I saw your guys add on craigs list and joined yesterday, I live in Illinois and have been riding some kind of fourwheeler since I was 10 years old. I have a predator, ltr450 a warrior and a couple small ones for the kids now.
A friend of mine has a couple farms in waterloo and fults, we normally ride at his farm in fults. We have access to the sand bars along the river, and some trail's next to the river.
Thats how it is in west alton, but last time we went we must have pissed off the wrong person because someone called in on us. I don't even think it was one of the farmers, had to be a local rider mad because we were riding in there territory, lol.
Hey new member here, saw a link on polarisforums. I've been riding for over 15 years. Moved to MO in '07 (South County). Since then mostly ride some private land my FIL owns and St. Joe, then 2x a year i meet some buddies in WV and ride the outlaw trails. Looking for some more local places to ride.
LLOOLLL, Stealth, your bike is way too nice! Welcome Man.Don't take me wrong though, wish I had a beautiful newer machine like that. I'm just poor. Maybe someday. We'll have to get that thing muddy soon!
Hello, I have an '07 450 Wolverine. I live in Belleville. looking for new places to ride and new people to hang with. I have some vintage bikes also. I have a toyhauler so I am looking for some weekend runs. also interested in going to Bricks for mud run June 7-9.
My husband and I are new to this page but we love to ride. We love places to take our kids to ride as well, they are 5 and 2 1/2. We love Leerjack. We have also been to West Virgina on the Hatfield McCoy trails but that is a long, long way to go. We ride on our own land but also like camping and riding. Don't laugh when you see us pull up with our double trailers. We like to ride and have AC. Can't wait to ride this spring and summer!
