Just wondering if anyone is up for a spring ride in the next few weeks or so? Been looking to get my arctic cat back out! Heard some good things about a place called cloud 9 ranch in southern mo, has anyone been there? Just wondering if it's worth the trip, moto2go gives it a 5 star rating! Seems like it would be a great place to ride. Anyone up for it? I'm available most weekends!
Moto2go is an app for android has all the places in the country to ride. It rates them posts pics videos and pretty much anything you would Wana know about a place before you visit! I highly recommend it! Very few places get a 5 star rating but cloud 9 did that's what peeked my interest.
They do require a membership. They did have an open ride in Oct. I think but they are to far for us to go. We are ready to ride but would like somewhere a little closer if it is just for the weekend.
Have you been to Little Egypt in Ill? If we plan a ride to Coal Creek we will need to go on like a Thurs. Fri. Sat and Sun. Anyone one else interested in going?
If we can't get an out of town ride plan we can at least go to St. Joe state park that weekend. We really are ready to get out and ride and camp. I don't think we can go to the Badlands because it says no buggies and we only have one four wheeler.
Camping is on concrete pads. They sell firewood there if you want it a decent price. Nice fire pit and usually have a parking spot big enough for truck and trailer
They have great campsites. You do need to call ahead for reservations but they are not to hard to do. We like them since we have a giant car hauler and need a pull through site. We can go Sat. April 5-6. They have a few pull through sites available.
Ok there are no electric sites and no pull through sites for that weekend, that being said I looked at their campsite map . I chose site 30 and reserved it. There's quite a few sites available around it if you guys Wana get one close by. It's right next to the water and pretty close to the shower house
Ok we will be down Saturday Morning and we are going to try just showing up and reserving a site that day. That way we can eye up which one will fit a 40 ft trailer in the basic sites. We will be there early, early on Saturday.
There website has all the info you need and tells you the exact length of every spot.. Plus pictures of every site and you can make your reservation from there
Well my Arctic Cat is out of the question for this weekend cause it needs rings, but I will be able to use the Suzuki. Almost got my cousins Bayou ready to go. Just need to adjust the carb, install the plastics, and test it this week.
Definitely going this weekend but would anybody be interested in going to the south forks dirt riders opening weekend? It's in Taylorville il, that weekend they have mud bog competitions truck pulls and live music! Should be a good time!
Had a great time this weekend. Nice to meet new riders. If anyone is interested they have pull through sites available the last weekend in June. Just let me know.
Yes I had a great time too. Maybe next time I will have my Arctic Cat ready for the run and maybe my girlfriend can join us too. I am working if editing the videos on my GoPro, but have been having issues with my laptop. I will post it as soon as I get it together.
