So Who's up for a ride next Sat or Sun??

I guess we'll just go with Sat since some people might go to church on sun, Sat seems like it will be a nice day to ride.  Hope some more of the members can attend this one, it's a good way to meet up with out haveing to drive to far away.

Next time we'll go somewhere else.

T.J.

well, looks like I'm not gonna make it now, My wheel axle sheared off at the wheel hub, I wont be able to get one in time for the ride tomorrow so my hands are tied. I'll be up and running in a week are so, so I'll be ready for the next ride I hope. I'm just happy it happened at home, and not on the long trail.

LOL I did last week, but it was the front end, not the back. The back has a live axle and Stock the buggy is made for the street and very light duty. As you know I ride off road and I don't hold back most of the time so it was expected that that axle was not gonna last to long, but I got more out of it than I thought I would. The axle is known to fail and most people do the switch to an aftermarket one right away but I was gonna get as much out of it as I could before I had to fork over $170.00 bucks for a new setup. My little brother broke his a few months ago, so we just put a new swing arm on his with a heavier duty axle already on it. I'm just gonna stick with the stock swing arm, beef it up and throw a new axle on it.

The thing is the axle is 1" at the bearings, then where you bolt on the wheel hub to the splines it drops down to 3/4", the twisting at the splines shears em off every time.
